In our household, Hawaiian pizza is a beloved choice, as the blend of ham, pineapple, cheese, and red sauce complement each other beautifully. Additionally, I include peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I use baked ham, ham steaks, or deli ham cut into small squares. We roll out our pizza dough with a rolling pin and bake it on a perforated pizza pan, which makes the pizza preparation process a bit easier.

HAWAIIAN PIZZA - Recipe (makes one 12" pie)
A 12oz ball of pizza dough
flour for dusting
pan spray
1/2 cup red sauce - refer to Koji Cooks' recipe for pizza & pasta red sauce, or opt for your preferred store-bought variety.
1 cup shredded mozzarella
15 pieces each of red bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions, cut into julienne strips and lightly cooked on a griddle or steel pan coated with pan spray - see photo
1 cup of cooked ham diced into small squares - refer to photo
1/2 cup of canned pineapple chunks, sliced in half.
kosher salt and fresh black pepper
METHOD
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees set on convection
Roll the dough into a 12" circle on a floured surface, then place it on a perforated 12-1/2" pizza pan that has been sprayed with pan spray. Top with the red sauce, mozzarella, vegetables, ham, pineapple and sprinkle of salt and pepper as shown in the photos. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
